Stephane Lhopiteau is an HEC graduate, certified public accountant in France and auditor of the IHEDN . He started his carrier in 1992 by creating a communication agency, Anthyllis.
After selling his small firm, he joined Arthur Andersen in 1994 where he served more than 10 years as an auditor and advisor, and where he was promoted to partner in 2002.
The biscuit group Morina Baie St Michel (one of his clients with Arthur Andersen) hired him in 2004 as Head of Finance and Business Development.
In 2008, he became Chief Financial Officer of Dcns (now Naval Group), before being called from 2011 within the Thales group (one of the two Dcns main shareholders), first as SVP, Group CFO Deputy and then in 2013 as SVP, Performance and Business Services; in this role, he was also appointed Chairman of Thales Global Services gathering 1 400 employees.
In 2015, Stephane Lhopiteau joined the Areva group as Chief Financial & Legal Officer. In addition to the standard duties linked to such scope of responsibilities, he managed the legal and financial restructuring of the group. As from 2018, he took over the global responsibilities for legal and finance of Orano, and he was entrusted with leading digital transformation and IS/IT for the group; in this context, he also chaired the Digital Commission of the GIFEN in support of the full nuclear industry.
By the end of 2019, Stephane Lhopiteau became Managing Director Finance of the Siaci Saint-Honoré group, a leading provider of consulting and brokerage services in property and personal insurance, under LBO. After having managed a liquidity crisis and put the group back on track to perform and deliver, he drove the project to combine Diot and Siaci, to renew the equity round and to refinance the net debt of the group.
